Leonidas of Rhodes

Leonidas of Rhodes (Greek: Λεωνίδας ὁ Ρόδιος) is considered the most successful runner at the ancient Olympic Games . He achieved 12 Olympic victories. He won all stadium , double and gun runs of the four Olympic tournaments that took place between 164 and 152 BC. Took place in Olympia . Leonidas was called triastes (triple winner ).

It is noteworthy that he was able to keep his top form for twelve years and was not defeated by any other Greek athlete during this time.
