Learning field concept

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The learning field concept is a didactic concept in vocational education .

In the learning field concept, lessons are no longer organized in traditional subjects, but structured in the form of learning fields derived from fields of action ( fields of activity). This creates an interdisciplinary curriculum.

Since the fields of action are based on the business processes of the company, one speaks of process-oriented vocational training .

However, general education is also increasingly tending to take into account the principle of action orientation contained in the learning field concept in its course development.
