Les Amis de la Terre France
Les Amis de la Terre France (Friends of the Earth France) is an independent French non-governmental organization based in Montreuil and was founded in 1970.
The organization has around 1500 members in 21 local groups across France. Friends of the Earth France publishes a magazine every three months that provides information on the current campaigns
The association is a member of the Friends of the Earth International network .
The main areas of work are:
- Rainforest protection
- Campaigns that take effect at international financial institutions
- Agriculture, biotechnology and genetically modified organisms
- sustainable production
- Climate, Energy and Transport
- Nuclear power issues
