The Latvian National Art Museum ( Latvijas Nacionālais mākslas muzejs ) is a museum in the Latvian capital Riga .

It is located on Esplanāde Park, east of the old town, in a building from 1905 designed by the architect Wilhelm Neumann .

The museum houses the most important collection of Latvian art, including paintings by Vilhelms Purvītis and Janis Rozentāls . In total, the museum has around 52,000 works of Latvian, Baltic and Russian art from the mid-18th century to the present day.

After several years of restoration, the museum reopened in May 2016.
