Lighthouse Kaiserschleuse
The lighthouse Kaiserschleuse (also called the Pingelturm ) stands east on the pier at the entrance to the Kaiserhafen in Bremerhaven . The Kaiserschleuse Ostfeuer , which is still in operation , was built in 1900 by the port director Rudolf Rudloff and is the northernmost lighthouse in the seaside town. The lighthouse has been a listed building since 1984. The height of the structure is 15 m, the height of the beacon 10 m.
The lighthouse carries a fog bell that is still in operation today.
