history

AbfallRTag conference 2012 of Lexxion Verlag in Düsseldorf

In 2000, Wolfgang Andreae and Fritz Neske founded NP NewLaw Publishers, a purely online publisher . In the wake of the Internet euphoria of the 1990s, which waned at the beginning of the millennium , the decision was made to convert the daily business of the publishing house to classic activities. The main program of the company, which was restructured in 2002 and renamed Lexxion Verlag , has since been the publishing of print products and the organization of its own conferences.

Five German and nine English-language specialist journals from the fields of climate protection, waste and environmental, food and chemicals and competition law are published by the publisher. In 2010 the European Journal of Risk Regulation (EJRR) and the Renewable Energy Law and Policy Review (RELP) were added, in 2011 the magazine for pollution control law and emissions trading (I + E) and in 2012 the magazine for German and European water, sewage and Soil protection law (W + B). The legal trainee magazine Justament celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2010. In addition to events on waste law, food law and subsidy law, in 2010 the publisher held new conferences on pollution control law and chemicals law - the latter in English. Meetings are held across Europe.

In September 2019 the publisher has 26 employees.
