The Liberal Democratic Party ( Turkish : Liberal Demokrat Parti , LDP) is a political liberal party in Turkey that has existed since 1994 . The party headquarters are located in the Turkish capital Ankara .

history

It was founded on July 26, 1994. The party chairman is Gültekin Tırpancı (as of spring 2019). Since it was founded, the party has always missed the ten percent hurdle for entry into the Grand National Assembly of Turkey .

Objective, honorary chair

The LDP has set itself the goal of privatizing the economy, establishing freedom of opinion and belief, and adopting a moderate and peaceful stance in foreign policy.

Honorary chairman of the party is the former party chairman and tourism entrepreneur Besim Tibuk .
