In the late 1970s and 1980s, Jugend mit einer Mission ev in Germany published several song books and music on sound carriers (cassettes and records). They were used for musical work at home and in the community. Lead editors included Marion Warrington and Jim & Anne Mills , Helen Bousfield , Molly Deatherage , Bruce Clewett , Dirk Schmalenbach , Keith Warrington , Roy Edwards and Markus Egger .

About 4 to 6 song books were published, all but one of which was edited by Marion Warrington. Bruce Clewett was mostly in charge of the record productions.

According to the first edition in the book, the songbooks appeared in the following order:

All records and song books are only available in antiquarian form. Jim Mills published his record "In Deiner Nahe" in English (At Every Day's Dawning).

Today, Hänssler Verlag owns the rights to all song books published by Verlag Jugend with a Mission. Since many of the songs printed in the books violate the author's copyright , only some of them are available from the publisher. Some rights were also held by other German-language publishers. You may be able to get them there. Of the recordings, only the recording "Where is such a god" by Bruce Clewett has been re-digitized and is available on the CD "I want to thank you! 2 - The most beautiful church songs".
