Delivery traffic is commercial traffic for the removal and delivery of goods, which is sometimes excluded from road closures for vehicles under traffic law if its destination or origin is on this route.

In pedestrian zones , for example, delivery traffic can be exempted at certain times of the day. The difference to an exempt local traffic is the limitation of the purpose.
