Liegnitzer ring table

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Liegnitzer ring table is a round table with a special pull-out mechanism. Josef Seiler in Liegnitz applied for a patent in Great Britain in 1920 . Today it is considered an antique .

A round table is expanded like a fan with plates so that they are in the form of a ring on a solid round table top. After pulling out, the round table has the shape of a circle again.

When the ring table is closed, the plates are located behind the edge under the table top. To extend the ring table, the edge is turned down. The extension is then pulled out like a fan and finally turned up.
