The Limit Rock (from English limit , uttermost ' ) is a cliff in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands, washed over by the sea . It is 2 miles east of the North Foreland of King George Island .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations mapped it in 1937. They named it so because it marks the eastern extension of an area of shallows around the North Foreland.
