Lindelbachbahn
The Lindelbachbahn (more rarely: Lindenbachbahn ) was a railway line that ran from Stockhausen (Lahn) to the iron ore mines in the Tiefenbach mine area.
Construction of the line began in 1883. The first trip took place on December 1, 1884 on the 4.4 km long route from Stockhausen train station to the Anna and Würgengel pits .
In 1916 the route was extended by 3.5 km in order to also transport the ores extracted from the Dickenloh , Martha , Gloria , Florentine and Helene mines . From 1940 people were also transported.
The train service stopped in 1950.
