Lindemannstrasse 4 and 6

The semi-detached house at Lindemannstrasse 4 and 6 in Düsseldorf was built in 1955 based on a design by Rainer Maria Schlitter .

Both houses are similar but not identical. What they have in common is the same building and floor height. Both have five floors and an attic. However, they differ in the design of the balcony shapes and the cantilevered eaves cornice . While in house no. 4 the balconies are drawn as a long, horizontal band, the balconies in house no. 6 swing concavely inwards. The same applies to the protruding eaves cornice and the shape of the dormer windows . While in house no. 6 these are straight, in house no. 4 they are concave.
