Lindley Hall

The Lindley Hall is a multipurpose hall in the Elverton Street in the City of Westminster in London .

history

The hall was opened in 1904. It is the older of the two Royal Horticultural Halls . It was named after the botanist John Lindley . Originally planned as an exhibition hall, it was increasingly used for conferences and sporting events. From 1910 to 1939 it was the venue for All England .
