Lingo stands for:

  • Jargon , slang, technical language
  • Lingo (programming language) , programming language of the Adobe Director software
  • lingo (indexing system) , system for indexing German-language texts
  • Lingo (game) , a letter game in which , similar to the classic logic game Mastermind, the aim is to guess a word by using correctly positioned letters and letters that appear in the searched word, but in a different place, in the case of words of the same length to mark. The word to be guessed must be determined within a certain number of attempts.
  • Lingo (television broadcast) , a 20-minute week-long game show broadcast on Dutch television from January 1989 to October 2014, which prepared the game Lingo for television.
