Linwood Islamic Center

The Linwood Islamic Center is a Sunni mosque in the Linwood district of Christchurch , New Zealand. It was built as the second mosque in the city in early 2018 on the site of a former church. The carrier is the Linwood Islamic Charitable Trust, founded in 2017 . The mosque was the target of an attack on March 15, 2019 . Seven people were killed in the mosque and three more in front of the mosque.
