Mairy is a village and a former French commune with 273 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Sedan and the Canton of Carignan .

With effect from September 15, 2015, the former municipalities of Mairy and Douzy were merged into a commune nouvelle of the same name with the name Douzy and have the status of a commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Douzy.

location

Mairy is about ten kilometers east-southeast of the city center of Sedan . Neighboring towns of Mairy are Douzy in the north, Brévilly in the east and northeast, Tétaigne in the east and southeast, Euilly-et-Lombut in the southeast, Amblimont (municipality of Mouzon ) in the south, Villers-devant-Mouzon in the southwest and Remilly-Aillicourt in the west.
