The canton of Carignan is a French constituency in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region . It comprises 38 municipalities in the Arrondissement of Sedan and has its bureau centralisateur in Carignan . As part of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was significantly expanded in spring 2015.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Carignan included the 26 municipalities Auflance , Bièvres , Blagny , Carignan , Fromy , Herbeuval , La Ferté-sur-Chiers , Les Deux-Villes , Linay , Malandry , Margny , Margut , Matton -et-Clémency , Messincourt , Mogues , Moiry , Osnes , Puilly-et-Charbeaux , Pure , Sachy , Sailly , Sapogne-sur-Marche , Signy-Montlibert , Tremblois-lès-Carignan , Villy and Williers . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​202.78 km ² . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 0804.
