Blagny is about 22 kilometers southeast of Sedan on the Chiers River . Neighboring communities of Blagny are Carignan in the north and west, Les Deux-Villes in the north-east, Puilly-et-Charbeaux in the east and north-east, Linay in the east and Sailly in the south and south-west.

The municipality's train station is on the Mohon – Thionville railway line .
