Pouru-Saint-Remy is a French commune with 1,163 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ardennes in the Région Grand Est . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Sedan and the canton Sedan-3 (until 2015: canton Sedan-Est ).
geography
Pouru-Saint-Remy is located about ten kilometers east-southeast of the city center of Sedan in the Argonne . The Chiers limits the community in the south. Pouru-Saint-Remy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pouru-aux-Bois in the north, Escombres-et-le-Chesnois in the east and northeast, Sachy in the east and southeast, Tétaigne in the southeast, Brévilly in the south, Douzy in the west and Francheval in the Northwest.
The former Route nationale 43 (today's D643) runs through the municipality .
