La Moncelle is a French municipality with 141 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Ardennes in the Région Grand Est (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Sedan and the canton Sedan-3 (until 2015 Sedan-Est ).

La Moncelle is located about four kilometers east-southeast of the city center of Sedan in the Argonne . La Moncelle is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Daigny in the north, Rubécourt-et-Lamécourt in the east and Bazeilles in the south and west.
