Villers-sur-Bar is a French commune with 247 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Sedan and the canton Sedan-1 (until 2015 Sedan-Ouest ). The inhabitants are called Villerois .

geography

Villers-sur-Bar is about eight kilometers west-southwest of the city center of Sedan on the Meuse (French: Meuse ), into which the bar flows here. Villers-sur-Bar is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Donchery in the north and east, Cheveuges in the south-east, Saint-Aignan in the south, Hannogne-Saint-Martin in the west and south-west, Dom-le-Mesnil in the west and north-west and Vrigne-Meuse in the Northwest.
