Dom-le-Mesnil is located about nine kilometers southeast of Charleville-Mézières and about nine kilometers west-southwest of Sedan on the river Maas (French Meuse ), which borders the municipality in the north and into which the Canal des Ardennes flows here. Dom-le-Mesnil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Nouvion-sur-Meuse in the north and north-west, Vrigne-Meuse in the north and north-east, Villers-sur-Bar in the east and north-east, Hannogne-Saint-Martin in the east and south-east, Sapogne- et-Feuchères in the south, Boutancourt in the west and south-west and Flize in the west and north-west.
