Hannogne-Saint-Martin is a French commune with 465 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Charleville-Mézières , the canton Nouvion-sur-Meuse (until 2015 Flize ) and the Ardenne Métropole municipal association .

Hannogne-Saint-Martin is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Sapogne-et-Feuchères in the southwest, Dom-le-Mesnil in the northwest and the municipalities of Villers-sur-Bar in the canton of Sedan-1 in the northeast and Saint-Aignan in the southeast.
history
On May 14, 1940, Hannogne-Saint-Martin was attacked by German tanks of the 2nd Panzer Division under Rudolf Veiel during the Battle of Sedan .
