Sécheval is located about 26 kilometers northwest of Sedan in the Ardennes forest between the Meuse and the Lac des Vieilles Forges . Sécheval is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Les Mazures in the north and west, Deville in the northeast, Monthermé in the east and northeast, Bogny-sur-Meuse in the east, Damouzy in the south and southeast, Montcornet in the south and Renwez in the west and southwest.
