Taillette is a French commune with 402 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Champagne-Ardenne ). It belongs to the arrondissement Charleville-Mézières , the canton Rocroi and the municipality association Vallées et Plateau d'Ardenne .

The municipality is located in the Ardennes Regional Nature Park, founded in 2011 on the border with Belgium . Taillette is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gué-d'Hossus in the northeast, the canton capital Rocroi in the east, Sévigny-la-Forêt in the southeast, Maubert-Fontaine in the south, Éteignières in the northwest, Regniowez in the west and the Belgian community Couvin in the north.

The current municipality of Taillette was part of the municipality of Rocroi until 1841.
