geography
The municipality is located just south of the Ardennes Regional Nature Park and is traversed by the Vaux River. Neighboring communities are:
- Marlemont in the north,
- Lépron-les-Vallées and Vaux-Villaine in the northeast,
- Thin-le-Moutier and Dommery to the east,
- Wagnon and Grandschamp in the south,
- Lalobbe in the southwest,
- Montmeillant to the west and
- Maranwez in the northwest.
