The municipality is located in the Ardennes Regional Nature Park, founded in 2011 . Laval-Morency is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Blombay in the west, Chilly in the northwest, Tremblois-lès-Rocroi in the northeast, Le Châtelet-sur-Sormonne in the east and the municipality of L'Échelle in the canton of Signy-l'Abbaye in the south.

history

The village was at the beginning of the 13th century by the Cathedral Chapter of the Cathedral of Reims founded. During the Franco-Spanish War (1635-1659) , the place was burned in September 1642.
