Neufmanil is a French commune with 1,020 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region . It belongs to the arrondissement Charleville-Mézières and the canton Villers-Semeuse (until 2015: canton Nouzonville ).

Neufmanil is about eight kilometers northeast of Charleville-Mézières . Neufmanil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Thilay in the north, Gespunsart in the east, La Grandville in the south, Aiglemont in the south-west, Nouzonville in the west and Bogny-sur-Meuse in the north-west.
