The canton of Villers-Semeuse is a French constituency in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region . It comprises 11 municipalities in the Charleville-Mézières arrondissement and has its bureau centralisateur in Villers-Semeuse . The canton was created on January 15, 1982 and expanded by two municipalities in 2015 as part of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Villers-Semeuse included the eight municipalities of Gernelle , Issancourt-et-Rumel , La Grandville , Lumes , Saint-Laurent , Ville-sur-Lumes , Villers-Semeuse and Vivier-au- Court and a small part of the city of Charleville-Mézières . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 0837.
