Tournes is a French commune with 1,076 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region ; it belongs to the arrondissement Charleville-Mézières and the canton Charleville-Mézières-1 (until 2015: canton Renwez ). The inhabitants are called Tournais .

Tournes is located about seven kilometers northwest of Charleville-Mézières in the Ardennes forest. Tournes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Arreux in the north and northeast, Houldizy in the east and northeast, Damouzy in the east, Belval in the south, Haudrecy in the southwest and Cliron in the west and northwest.

The Charleville-Mézières airfield is located in the municipality . The National Route 43 runs through Tournes . The Tournes service station is on the Charleville-Mézières-Hirson and Liart-Tournes routes .
