Villers-le-Tilleul (formerly: Villers-le-Tigneux ) is a French commune with 237 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region . It belongs to the arrondissement Charleville-Mézières and the canton Nouvion-sur-Meuse (until 2015: canton Flize ).
geography
Villers-le-Tilleul is about 14 kilometers south of Charleville-Mézières and about 17 kilometers west-southwest of Sedan . Villers-le-Tilleul is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Singly in the north and north-west, Élan in the north and north-east, Vendresse in the east, Omont in the south, Baâlons in the south-west and La Horgne in the west and south-west.
