The Põhimaantee 7 (National Road 7) is a highway in Estonia . It is the short Estonian section of the highway coming from Pskov in Russia and leading to Riga in Latvia . It also forms a section of the European route 77 , which leads in its northern section from Pskow to Kaliningrad (formerly: Königsberg).

The road, also known as Riia – Pihkva maantee, crosses the Russian-Estonian border east of Luhamaa , passes the junction of Põhimaantee 2 (national road 2 ) leading to Tartu (Dorpat) in Luhamaa and continues in a west-southwest direction to Latvia, its border between Murati and Veclaicene is exceeded. The continuation on the Latvian side is called Autoceļš A2 .

During Estonia's membership of the Soviet Union, the road was designated A212 . The section continues to bear this name on the Russian side.
