The road branches off in Sõmeru east of Rakvere from the Põhimaantee 1 ( European Route 20 ) from leads through this city and extends in generally the southwest to the railway junction tapa over after Paid , in the immediate vicinity of Tallinn to Tartu leading Põhimaantee 2 ( Europastraße 263 ), and further parallel to the Pärnu River via Türi to the city of Pärnu , where it meets Põhimaantee 4 ( European route 67 ), Via Baltica .

The length of the road is around 184 km.

history

During Estonia's membership of the Soviet Union, the road was designated A203.
