The road, also known as Valga-Uulu maantee , branches off from Põhimaantee 3 in Valga directly on the border with Latvia , leads north out of this city and initially runs along the Estonian-Latvian border and then via Tõrva , Karksi-Nuia and at the small border town Mõisaküla north over, after kilingi-nõmme where after Viljandi leading Põhimaantee 92 branches off, and eventually results in which, on the Riga coast village Uulu south of Pärnu the Põhimaantee 4 ( Europastraße 67 s), Via Baltica .
The length of the road is around 125 km.
history
During Estonia's membership of the Soviet Union, the road was designated A208.
