Luhamaa (German Luchama ) is one of the largest border crossing points for trucks in southeast Estonia in Võru County . It belongs to the rural community of Setomaa (until 2017 Misso ) in the historic Setumaa landscape .

The border crossing is on European route 77 . The Shumilkino border checkpoint is on the Russian side.

Luhamaa is known for the historic Orthodox Holy Spirit Church and the small cemetery. The foundation stone for the church building was laid on July 14, 1929. It was inaugurated on June 26, 1932. Today the church is subordinate to the Estonian Apostolic Orthodox Church ( Eesti Apostlik-Õigeusu Kirik - EAÕK ).
