Margny is a French municipality with 192 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ardennes in the Région Grand Est . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Sedan and the Canton of Carignan .

geography

Margny is about 40 kilometers east-southeast of the city center of Sedan in the Argonne on the border with Belgium . Margny is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Florenville (Belgium) in the north and west, Meix-devant-Virton (Belgium) in the east, Breux in the southeast, Herbeuval in the south and Sapogne-sur-Marche in the southwest.
