Linay is located about 28 kilometers east-southeast of downtown Sedan in the Argonne . Linay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Puilly-et-Charbeaux in the north and east, Fromy in the south-east, Villy in the south, Sailly in the west and south-west and Blagny in the west and north-west.
