Floing is a French commune with 2,349 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Sedan and the canton Sedan-2 (until 2015: canton Sedan-Nord ).
geography
Floing is a banlieue in the north of Sedan near the Belgian border. The Meuse flows along the western municipal boundary. Floing is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Menges in the north, Fleigneux in the northeast, Illy in the east and northeast, Sedan in the south and east and Glaire in the west and southwest.
