Pouru-aux-Bois is a French commune with 266 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Ardennes in the Région Grand Est (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Sedan and the canton Sedan-3 (until 2015 Sedan-Est ).
geography
Pouru-aux-Bois is about twelve kilometers east of the city center of Sedan in the Argonne and on the Belgian border. Pouru-aux-Bois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Francheval in the north and west, Bouillon (Belgium) in the north and north-east, Escombres-et-le-Chesnois in the east and south-east and Pouru-Saint-Remy in the south.
