Liricas Analas is a Swiss hip-hop - group of Grisons which their lyrics in Romansh in the idiom Sursilvan writes. The band consists of three MCs (Flepp, Orange, Jusht) and a DJ (David Suivez or Suivez, formerly also known as DJ Suit). David Suivez and Adrian Candinas produce the beats.

history

In 1999 the band was formed in its original formation with five MCs and two DJs (Renzo “Orange” Hendry, Adrian “Spoon” Candinas, Pius “PDDP” Venzin, Johannes “Jusht” Just and Roman “Flepp” Flepp as MCs as well as DJ Gionson and David "DJ Suit" Suivez) who write their own lyrics. The first concert took place in 2001 in Dieni .

The band is committed to preserving the Romansh language in Switzerland.

In 2004 they released Analogia , the first ever Rhaeto-Romanic rap album.

In 2006, Liricas Analas' second album, AnalFaBad , was released. With their hit Siemis they landed at the top of the Viva video charts . The video clip was shot in the Therme Vals.

After AnalFaBad , the band took a creative break, during which various members pursued their solo projects. PDDP got out of the crew and is now successful after a solo album with the band The Swiss Avengers . Adrian "Spoon" Candinas has not worked as an MC since then, but remained a producer.

The album Analectrica followed on March 6, 2009 and was influenced by current trends in electronic music and impulses from hip-hop, funk and rock. The band calls their style "disco rap". The third album released reached number 13 on the Swiss charts in the first week . The Liricas were nominated as Best Newcomer for the Swiss Music Awards .

In June 2012, the fourth studio album, Analium , was released, spanning all genres from classic hip-hop to electronic music to eighties disco. The album reached number 8 on the Swiss charts .
