Lisa Shaw (house singer)
Lisa Shaw (* 1969 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian house singer.
biography
When the Toronto-born Lisa Shaw was vacationing in New York in 1993 , the singer, who was enthusiastic about the local club scene, decided to stay there. Projects with well-known house producers quickly emerged. Between 1995 and 2000 she was heard in countless productions. With the single Always , which was released in 2000 and was praised by Madonna in Rolling Stone magazine , her name became known in addition to her voice. She received the Canadian Urban Music Award for her single Let It Ride , produced in 2003 . Their successful debut album Cherry was released in 2005, followed by the single Born To Fly in 2006 .
