List of Ascension administrators
The administration of Ascension Island , as part of the British Overseas Territory of St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha , has been managed by an administrator since 1964. This is sent directly, every two to three years, by the mother country and appointed by the governor. He is the island council ( English Island Council ).
