List of the inquiry commissions of the Bavarian State Parliament

The list of enquete commissions of the Bavarian state parliament includes the enquete commissions that the Bavarian state parliament has set up since 1987. In accordance with Section 25a of the Bavarian Constitution, a study commission must be set up at the request of one fifth of the MPs . A report from the Commission should be presented in good time so that it can be discussed in plenary by the end of the legislative period.

Since 1987 there have been six study commissions (status: December 18, 2017) on the following topics (in brackets the duration from the establishment to the final report or the final state parliament debate on the same):

  1. AIDS (1987-1989)
  2. Reform of federalism - strengthening the state parliaments (1999-2001)
  3. With renewed energy into the new millennium (1999-2003)
  4. Being young in Bavaria - future prospects for the coming generations (2005–2008)
  5. Equal living conditions throughout Bavaria (since 2014)
  6. Actively shaping integration in Bavaria and giving direction (since 2016)
