Dipshorn ( Low German Dipshoorn ) is located about 30 kilometers east of Bremen . It belongs to the municipality of Vorwerk in the joint municipality of Tarmstedt in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district in Lower Saxony .

Dipshorn was first mentioned in 1336 under the name Debbeshorne .
In 1848 Dipshorn had 17 houses with 121 inhabitants.
On March 1, 1974 Dipshorn was incorporated into the municipality of Vorwerk.
