List of the kings of Bagan

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Kingdom of Bagan was founded by Anawrahta , who united several small principalities on the central reaches of the Ayeyarwady River in what is now Myanmar and conquered other areas, in particular the Mon Empire south of Bagan . The end came in 1287 with the Mongol invasion under Kublai Khan . The successors of Narathihapate were only puppets of the Mongols on the throne of Bagan.
