1804 The building was designed in 1804 by Carl Leonard von Uber , who was also tasked with planning the rebuilding of the city, which was completely burned down in 1803. The mighty building has two towers, which corresponded to the wishes of the population at the time, because the burned down Tuttlingen had two town hall buildings and so the new town hall should have at least two towers, a watchtower and a bell tower. As part of the urban redevelopment, the building was renovated from 1981 to 1983 and an extension was added.

Burgtheater, Badischer Hof
Burgtheater, Badischer Hof Möhringer Strasse 2, 78532 Tuttlingen
(map)
1905 The inn was built according to plans by Johann F. Mailänder. The owner Johann Georg Manz is named in the 1906 address book as the owner of the "Waldhorn", but sold to the Zeeb brothers in the same year. Continued as the “Hotel zum Badischer Hof” with a real inn. From 1948 to 1963 the building housed the “Burgtheater” cinema and later the “Caravella di Puglia” restaurant, the “Jet” and “Krokodil” restaurants. Today a casino called "Löwen-Play GmbH" has its seat on the ground floor. Two-storey plastered building with a crooked hip roof and a three-axis central projection with a crooked hip facing Möhringer Strasse. A domed ornamental bay window is arranged across the corner from Stockacher Straße. The historicizing facade decorations over the window and door walls, on the balconies and parapet zones and the decorative roofs of dormers and tower refer to the German Renaissance.

1900-1902 The building was inaugurated on September 1, 1902 as a gymnasium and festival hall. Its use as a gymnasium was given up in 1970; since the construction of the new town hall in 2002, the old festival hall is no longer used as a festival hall.BW
