List of Impulse Theater Festival winners

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

At the Impulse theater festival between 1990 and 2011, changing specialist juries awarded prizes for the best production in the German-speaking independent theater scene.

The jury also awarded the Goethe Institute Prize , which was intended to enable the award-winning productions to perform abroad. In 2011, the Dietmar N. Schmidt Prize was awarded for the first time for the best individual artistic achievement in memory of the festival founder and former director of the NRW cultural secretariat in Wuppertal, Dietmar N. Schmidt. The prize was endowed with 1500 €.

The archive on the festival website lists all invited productions and award winners.

No prizes were awarded at the 1991, 1995 and 2005 festivals.
