- ^ M. Jan C. van Beusekom - December 12th, 1948. Was arrested by the Germans in 1940 in Holland, where he was on leave at the time, and sent to Buchenwald, where he spent two years, after which he was transferred to a camp in Holland. Before his appointment to Rangoon, he had served for two years as First Secretary at Madrid.
