Literary marathon

The literary marathon is a 24-hour reading of novels and poems, which is organized and broadcast once a year at the start of the lit.COLOGNE literature festival by radio station WDR5 . From 10 p.m. on Friday evening to 10 p.m. on Saturday evening, actors, speakers and celebrities will read books on a main topic live in front of an audience. As a rule, there are a total of around one hundred texts proposed by WDR5 listeners and selected by the editorial team.
